How I started…
…As a child, I was obsessed by setting my family’s dining table—not just for meals, but as a way to create something unexpected. I used my mom’s china and random objects I found around the house, transforming the table into- a story. I expanded my creativity to study painting, and my life as an artist has been about finding beauty in people and their faces. Painting portraits taught me to see the individuality in every face, a perspective I bring to setting tables, where I make sure each guest feels seen, celebrated (and sits a bit higher).
At The Artist’s Table, I use the tablecloth as my canvas, where I layer vintage and antique dinnerware, textures, colors, and handmade art objects to create immersive tablescapes that reflect the people gathered. My goal is to elevate the act of gathering, turning tables into paintings and events into memorable experiences.
